What we keep,
and why.

Last updated 20 October 2026. Template copy for the portfolio build; a real studio would have this reviewed by a lawyer.

On this page

Kowloon Light Office collects as little as it can. This page explains what that is, in plain words, under Hong Kong’s Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance.

01 · What we collect

  • What you type into the contact form: your name, email, company, the services you ticked, your budget range, timeline and message.
  • Basic, anonymous visit statistics: which pages were viewed and roughly where from. No names, no tracking across other sites.

02 · How we use it

Only to reply to your enquiry and, if we work together, to run the project. We do not add anyone to a mailing list and we do not sell or rent data.

03 · Who we share it with

Our web host and email provider process data on our behalf so the site and inbox work. Nobody else sees it unless the law requires us to share it.

04 · How long we keep it

Enquiries that do not become projects are deleted after 12 months. Project records are kept for seven years for accounting.

05 · Cookies

The site sets no advertising cookies. One cookie remembers whether you have dismissed the cookie notice; the statistics tool is cookie-free.

06 · Your rights

You can ask to see the data we hold about you, correct it, or have it deleted. We will answer within 40 days, and usually much sooner.

07 · Contact

Write to Yuki Tam, who looks after data at the studio: hello@lightoffice.hk, or 2/F, 41 Reclamation Street, Yau Ma Tei, Kowloon.
